And since I'm clogging your flists with depressing and/or annoying shit, have a meme!

LiveJournal, we often think we're close, but really, we know less about each other than we like to think.

So I want you to ask me something you would like to know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about, or something you've always been curious about but have never asked, or something completely silly that you'd like me to answer for kicks.

No limits on the range of questions, either: ask me anything you want to know about, whether it's a fannish opinion or trivia about my real life or my thoughts on events in the offline world.

Would you like an apple? :D

Seriously, though. What's been the best day of your life so far?

I think it's a tie between the first time I saw U2 live and started crying all over the place when they played my favourite songs (and ended up hugging random strangers), and the day I got the hysto.

Take this as seriously as you feel like :D

Assuming all of the following were actually possible, would you rather live on:
a) Earth
b) The Moon
c) Another planet
d) Another planet's moon
e) A spaceship
f) None of the above

And, of course, why did you choose that one? (I know that's more than one question, but hey. The "why" is somewhat essential.)

I love this question! :D

Earth. Mostly because I think humanity doesn't need to destroy another planet. And as much as I adore the stars and especially the moon, I wouldn't want to live there. I like to appreciate the moon's beauty from where I am.

Yay! I am aware that my interest in space is not shared by everyone, so I'm glad you're not one of those people :D

I completely agree with your reason for living on Earth. Humans don't have a great record with looking after things. And the moon does look so very lovely from where we are - it would be a shame to spoil it.

Although for my part, I would be there like a shot if there was assurance that we wouldn't ruin it...

I'm not sure if I'd like to live on the moon, even if there was assurance we wouldn't ruin it. I think some things are beautiful and fascinating precisely because they're unreachable and lose their magic once you do reach them. I don't even think I wouldn't find the moon fascinating anymore, but I'd definitely miss seeing it when I look up to the sky at 3 o'clock in the morning.
