Btw, don´t you too think that the line "Born and raised by those who praise control of population" in RHCP´s Californication is very close to being a perfect line. I personally have fallen in love with it today. I could definitely use it somewhere.

That is quite possibly my favourite quote from Fight Club and one of my fave quotes ever. Fight Club is one of that books that genuinely changed my world. Not a lot of books had such a huge impact on me. <3

Not a big RHCP fan myself, but I agree that line is pretty fucking epic.

I had the same feeling when reading Fight Club for the first time: it changed something in me and my life ^__^ I have read all the novels from Palahniuk but none of them have been even close to Fight Club ♥. (And how could they have been? The bar is raised way too high.)
